Is Shonda Rhimes the writer of Grey’s? Is that why everyone blames her?

She is the creator of the show. She also produces and writes episodes. What people don’t seem to realize is she doesn’t write every episode. In fact there are a bunch of different writers for different episodes. For example the last episode was written by Stacy McKee. So why people blame Shonda all the time is really just not knowing.

Download links or to just watch it online? For downloading there are many reasons I don’t want to. I only know one place that has a decent one. It’s a hassle for me, I don’t really have the time to go looking for a good download link. If someone knows a good place that puts them up weekly, I will gladly give anyone who wants a download link that page, but as far as posting it every week- just doesn’t interest me nor to benefit the blog.

Why do you think Grey’s has become less popular over these last few years? :(

I’m not sure it’s become less popular, I would say it lost it’s number one spot and probably a lot of followers. In my opinion it happened after that writers strike. Grey’s became so popular because the connections between the characters (in the main case MerDer). Lots of new characters have come in and take a lot of screen time up. Which has now led to everyone fighting for their couple to have screen time. When really the show is supposed to be about their medical lives.

So even I would admit I loved it more in the first 3-4 seasons. Especially since I was a huge Denny lover Ha. But it’s a show I can’t really see letting go just because I’ve been there the whole ride!

Hey! I love your blog! but i have a quesiton… ever since i started watching grey’s i’ve gotten really into medical stuff, and now i’m thinking i want to be a doctor when i grow up. but the thing is, i’m not sure if i’m doing it because i think it’s going to be like the show, or because i really have an interest in medicine. i’m only 14 so i don’t know a lot of this stuff yet…but do you think that grey’s anatomy portrays how life of a surgeon really is? i know there is way more drama in the show, but other than that. thanks!

First of all thank you!

That’s great to hear. Grey’s has a fantastic medical side to it, with lots of real medical aspects to it. You learn lots for sure. But when it comes to how surgeons are with other surgeons and the life with them it’s a little dramatic for the show’s purpose of course.

I have worked in a hospital for almost a year now and wanting to get into medicine is something that you really need to see first hand. It’s a long grueling process, and people won’t be kind on the way. It’s something that is gonna take more personal power than anything else.

Mind you, you’re still very young and have time to figure things out. I would say if you are interested in that field and the aspects of medicine maybe read a few medical books maybe tv shows about real surgeons? See if it interests you then maybe take courses to do with sciences in highschool to make your way in that direction.

All in all I would say real life medicine is not like Grey’s at all. You can definitely learn some things from it though! Hope I helped somewhat.

I’m pre-med really- But I work as a med student so I call myself a med student. Allowed right? And I’ll answer this from my experience working at a hospital, which is no. It’s non comparable really. And you know that before watching these shows- which can be frustrating but I come to the point now where I ignore a lot of things because of the fact that it’s a drama show. A lot of medical stuff is the same! haha.

I still have over a year of pre-med before I start med school (hopefully) so it’s still a bit early to tell. But by then the whole series might be over so it might not be so much of a time taker. There will definitely be a time I will pass on the blog though if it comes to it.

Truthfully, I don’t think it will ever be like it used to just because times change. But I think Grey’s has definitely found it’s rhythm again.

I love your GIF’s and think your blog is great, but it seems like it’s getting to your head. You’ve honestly been SO rude to your followers these past few weeks, “should I even give you the time of day?” What makes you think you should say that to someone? Idk if you have something personal going on &if you do I hope it all turns out well, but if not, you need to start appreciating your followers. First off, I wouldn’t let someone I don’t even know get to my head.

The reason I said that to that person was, first of all they came to my blog anonymous, with an attitude and disrespect. I am a STRONG believer in you get what you give. If someone decides they can treat me like that, I will treat them right back like they are. People tend to think they are superior behind a computer screen.

To tell you the truth if this a real life situation, I would have walked away from a person like that. I don’t surround myself with people who raise their voices or talk like that.

I appreciate my followers more than you know.

I thought your blog was cool. This was when you were posting pictures and insightful comments about the show itself not answering EVERY SINGLE PANICKED IDIOT’S QUESTIONS. Aren’t you annoyed? Either stop answering publicly, or tell your followers to stop asking the same questions over and over again.

That’s because everyday the blog grows. Each day I get probably 100 followers or more. It’s like being out in the world though, can I just tell everyone who I don’t care for to go away? No. And if this was my job I would deal with everyone, because it’s how it is.

So yes, a lot of questions can be and have been repeated, or maybe not the smartest, but I will not delete them in less I really think I need to. I try to do my best with it.

I do apologize with how many questions there are lately. I hope you guys understand.
