i think it would be nice if you started posting download links after each episode airs 

download links or to just watch it online? For downloading there are many reasons I don’t want to. I only know one place that has a decent one. It’s a hassle for me, I don’t really have the time to go looking for a good download link. If someone knows a good place that puts them up weekly, I will gladly give anyone who wants a download link that page, but as far as posting it every week- just doesn’t interest me nor to benefit the blog.

Ha. Here’s how I see it. If I follow one back who posts everything they’re interested in I should follow everyone correct? Why do you think Grey’s has become less popular over these last few years? :(  

I’m not sure it’s become less popular, I would say it lost it’s number one spot and probably a lot of followers. In my opinion it happened after that writers strike. Grey’s became so popular because the connections between the characters (in the main case MerDer). Lots of new characters have come in and take a lot of screen time up. Which has now led to everyone fighting for their couple to have screen time. When really the show is supposed to be about their medical lives.

So even I would admit I loved it more in the first 3-4 seasons. Especially since I was a huge Denny lover Ha. But it’s a show I can’t really see letting go just because I’ve been there the whole ride!

Hey! I love your blog! but i have a quesiton… ever since i started watching grey’s i’ve gotten really into medical stuff, and now i’m thinking i want to be a doctor when i grow up. but the thing is, i’m not sure if i’m doing it because i think it’s going to be like the show, or because i really have an interest in medicine. i’m only 14 so i don’t know a lot of this stuff yet…but do you think that grey’s anatomy portrays how life of a surgeon really is? i know there is way more drama in the show, but other than that. thanks!  

First of all thank you!

That’s great to hear. Grey’s has a fantastic medical side to it, with lots of real medical aspects to it. You learn lots for sure. But when it comes to how surgeons are with other surgeons and the life with them it’s a little dramatic for the show’s purpose of course.

I have worked in a hospital for almost a year now and wanting to get into medicine is something that you really need to see first hand. It’s a long grueling process, and people won’t be kind on the way. It’s something that is gonna take more personal power than anything else.

Mind you, you’re still very young and have time to figure things out. I would say if you are interested in that field and the aspects of medicine maybe read a few medical books maybe tv shows about real surgeons? See if it interests you then maybe take courses to do with sciences in highschool to make your way in that direction.

All in all I would say real life medicine is not like Grey’s at all. You can definitely learn some things from it though! Hope I helped somewhat.

Well that’s pretty hard to tell right now. I still have two years of pre-med before I will hopefully get into med school. If Grey’s is still around then by then, let’s face it I’ll probably either be off tumblr/and or whatever may happen. If it was to be like it is right now.. I would sign this blog off to someone else most likely. Too early to tell!

Truthfully, I don’t think it will ever be like it used to just because times change. But I think Grey’s has definitely found it’s rhythm again.
